Let's hear it for the boy

Our baby isn't coming home until tomorrow, but he should hopefully put on a bit more weight. Every ounce makes me feel better. He has grown a whole inch in two weeks! He is now 18 inches long. The last three weeks or so have been a blur and I will be so glad to bring our baby home.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and wished us well. Your thoughts and prayers mean so much to me. Sorry I haven't answered you all personally. It's been a bit crazy here. Please just know that I read all of your messages and am very thankful.

AHA! I've been trying for a while to get into the combox, but for some reason blogger wouldn't let me in.

I've been praying..."boy" reminds me of my son - born at 32 weeks, 3 lb, 13 1/2 oz. and 17 inches long. He came home at 4 lb, 5 oz and three weeks old.

He has no lasting effects of being a preemie.

congrats!

Wow, I just now saw that you had the baby! I was on mag sulfate with my first at 31 weeks, and it was horrible. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that, but I'm so grateful to hear that you have such a healthy boy out of it. I hope you get to bring him home soon!

Congrats! Somehow I missed all this. Another friend of mine had a baby boy at 32 weeks last December (Emma at Charming the Birds from the Trees). Her early labor is still unexplained, but like your little guy hed baby did great and is meeting all his milestones on time or early. I'm sure your little one is going to blow us all away (even more!) too!
