I might go missing for a bit, until next Monday. Saturday is my DD8's First Communion, and we are planning a swirl of activities revolving around this event. It will be good to enjoy the company of family and friends, but it will certainly be busy. :-) I need to go make sure the house is clean, the food is ready, and that everyone has something nice to wear. I actually have a few posts rolling around in my head, but I won't be able to do anything great until the middle of next week.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful week! I'm off to go crazy. LOL!! :-)

Just attended a First Communion for my cousin's daughter. They actually did it quite informally - the kids just went up with their own families instead of all by themselves in front of everybody else. It was nice and relaxed, but at the same time the priest emphasized the importance of receiving the meal regularly. But he made it "gospel" and not "law" - you know what I mean? He focussed on the blessings of the meal, etc. There were 60 kids receiving their first communion!!
How wonderful Kitkat. :) Blessings to you!
Lifting up prayers of thankgiving today as your daughter prepares to approach the table of the Lord. May this precious moment be a blessing to all who witness it.
Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers!! :-)
