Let it snow??

Early this morning, I heard the gentle sound of rain hitting the side of our house. Or so I thought. Imagine the look of shock on my face when I opened the blinds later and saw SNOW! And a good amount of it too. I'm not sure how much more of this crazy, icky, unseasonal weather my poor little early spring garden can take. I'm not sure how much more I can take. I want spring..............

Well, at least the dog was happy this morning. She's a Siberian Husky, so this was a dream come true for her.

*starts chanting* spring spring spring spring SPRRRRRIIIIIIIIIING!!

yeah, I'm ready for warm weather too. Up here in Vermont, we'll have a day or two of nice, sunny weather, then a few days of overcast snowy weather. Nothing that's been sticking for the last month though. AND I just heard we're supposed to be getting like 4-5 inches of snow in the next few days. UGH ... it's mid APRIL ... I'm SO ready for spring ....

4-5 Inches!! AHHH!! I have spinach in my ity bity garden right now and it would surely croak if we got that much snow. It's a bit unusual for us to have this long of a stretch of winter-like weather in April. I am convinced that this is happening because this is the first year that I tried to push our growing season to it's limits. Old man winter is having a good laugh right now at my expense. ;-)

Ugh, I feel your pain! I've been ranting about snow all month! There was 12 feet this winter, but most of it had melted by the time we moved up here, and then WHAM! It all came back. Okay, not ALL, but about a foot or so. IN APRIL! AT EASTER! ARGHH!!! Okay, I'm done. It's been raining for 24 hours now and most is gone. I see tulips popping up! :)
